"No One Cares For Us Like Jesus"

Have you ever felt like no one cares for you? Today, I want to tell you my friend that you are loved and someone does care! Jesus does! He cares for you more than anyone. He cares for you more than your family and friends! I love what Proverbs 18:24 says,"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother!!"
How thankful I am to know that Jesus will NEVER leave me nor will He ever forsake me! Many times I have been in the valley, and every time He has been right there, carrying me through! Looking back on my life, I see His handprints everywhere!

I'm sure you have heard the song, "No One Ever Cares For Me Like Jesus." It has been sang many times in churches all over the world, but it took on a new meaning for me this past week after receiving a card from a dear saint, whose spouse recently went home to be with His Lord and Savior.
Here is an insert from that card."It seems that when our loved ones pass on, others forget the great loss and pain we go through. If it wasn't for God, I don't know what I would do. He is always with me during my lonely hours." After reading that, I immediately thought, "No one cares for us like Jesus does!"

I couldn't get that song out of my head, so I did some research and here is what I found;

"No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus was the product of one of the darkest periods in Charles Weigle's life. He spent most of his life as an evangelist and gospel songwriter. One day after returning home from an evangelistic crusade, he found a note left by his wife of many years. The note said she had enough of being an evangelist's wife. She was leaving him. Weigle became do despondent during the next several years that there were times when he contemplated suicide. There was the terrible despair that no one really cared for him anymore. Gradually his spiritual faith was restored, and he once again became active in the Christian ministry. And soon he felt compelled to write this song!"

So I say to you today, no matter what you are going through and how distraught you may feel, remember that Jesus loves you and cares so much for you! Cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you! ( I Peter 5:7) Keep your eye on the mark and don't let discouragement defeat you! Stay in the Word and saturate your heart and mind with the wonderful promises God has for you!!
Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might!! May God bless you and keep you in His tender care this week!


Psalms 30:5 "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning"

Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not! They are new every morning; Great Is Thy Faithfulness!"

Psalms 23:4 says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou are with me. Thy rod and staff, they comfort me!"

John 10:11,27-28 "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
