The Word is Alive

Today, I want to encourage you in the Word and give you some “spiritual food” for the week! God’s Word is amazing isn't it?!! I love reading my Bible and finding God's precious promises everywhere I look

Did you know that this year is the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible? While doing some research on the King James Bible I found many interesting facts. Did you know that the Bible is the #1, top selling book of all time! For some reason that doesn’t shock me!
This is a book that has been read by billions of people all over the world. It is filled with every answer to every question! It is a history book and It contains the road map to Heaven! The Bible is a living, breathing book that has changed the world in ways we can't even begin to comprehend!

"The Bible was inscribed over a period of two thousand years. In times of war and in days of peace, by kings, physicians, tax collectors, farmers, fishermen, singers, and shepherds. The marvel is that a library so perfectly cohesive could have been produced by such a diverse crowd over a period of time, which staggers the imagination. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12)

The closer I get to the Lord, the more I want to read His Word! I can go to the Bible for comfort when I’m feeling down. It gives me peace when I’m afraid. It gives me assurance of the future. It encourages me to keep running the race! It contains the answers to all of life’s problems! I can go to the Word for anything! It’s my weapon against the enemy and without it, I am helpless.

Put on the whole armor of God this week and watch the devil flee. Watch all your troubles begin to diminish! Feel the Joy of the Lord flood your heart and mind! It’s “medicine” to the heart and soul, and even our physical being!

I want to challenge you to pick up your Bible and dig into the most amazing book ever written! May God bless your week as you look to Him for All things! He is our Rock and our Fortress; He is our Hiding Place! Praise His Name!!!

Psalms 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall be continually in my mouth!”

Psalms 27:14 “Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord”

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ, which strengtheneth me”

Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
