Thank you God for Answered prayers!

No Pictures today. . . just me writing you this note to say just how Great our God is!!! What would life be without God filling my days with so much love and mercy. I can never thank Him enough for ALL He has done for me and my wonderful family!!

As most of you know, my precious Doodles is 4 weeks away from giving birth to a precious little baby boy! That's another wonderful gift from God! Most people would not think about a baby outside of marriage as a blessing but I believe that God can take even the wrong and use it for His good and I believe He has done just that in our situation. I won't go into detail but let me say that if you are a child of God you know that ALL things are working for our good to them that love the Lord (Romans 8:28) and God has done that very thing in my daughters life. What a difference she has made since January of this year. We have been through some of the toughest battles and trials a parent could go through over the last few years. There were days that we didn't know if she would come home or stay gone. There were so many sleepless nights, calling out to God in anguish! It was overwhelming at times. Just writing about it makes my stomach ache! And just when we thought things couldn't get worse, she came home in January to tell us that she was pregnant!!
Looking back to January, I thought her life was over and ours was only going to get worse! BUT. . . we were so wrong!! We have seen Doodles go from a rebellious teen to a beautiful young lady and soon to be mom!!! Oh my, that's crazy just to type those words but that is what she will be in a few weeks! A little "mommy!!"
She has truly become the best friend I always wanted her to be! I have waited so long for this to happen and it has!! She fills my heart with so much happiness and joy once again!!! I told her the other day that she was my rock and I mean that!
God answers prayers!!!! Don't ever give up!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!! I have prayed for my daughter consistently that God would change her life and everyday I see more and more positive changes in her! "We see the cocoon, but God sees the butterfly!!" We see the wrapping but God sees the gift down inside!!" So true. All along God knew what He was doing! I just needed to be faithful in prayer day after day and wait on the Lord!!
I must give God all the Glory for all the great things He has done in this situation. It was nothing I did other than just being faithful to Him! If you are a parent, begin right now praying daily for your children! Don't wait til it's too late. Start now. God honors our faithfulness!!
