Finger-licking good KFC!!! That was our "Mother's Day" dinner!! Mom always cooks this huge dinner every year and so we decided to do something special and surprise her with this easy-to-do dinner! This is the first Mother's day that we actually got to spend time with each other and not have to help cook and wash dishes for hours!! It was so relaxing and so great to sit around and see who could out-talk each other because that's what us Jones' do!!! We love to talk. . . and talk too much!! If you ever go to "Jonestown" as Megan puts it, you will know what we are talking about!! Actually, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!! I love my family!!

It is actually one of the first time ever in my life that I recall mom sitting down before everyone else. It made me so happy to see her get to enjoy a holiday. Life is too short to spend it cooking, laboring, and cleaning up. We need to all be more like Mary instead of Martha...(remember dads sermon?) Enjoying the moments of life that slip away to quickly....
